Looking for unique Groomsmen gifts?

I am trying to think of gift ideas for groomsmen in my wedding. I don’t want to get the usual engraved this or that. I would like to know any really cool gifts like a Wireless Mini Spy Camera or something that you have received (for any holiday or event, not just weddings) in the last year that I could consider for my groomsmen. I am leaning toward possibly getting them a GPS navigation system. They have handheld gps, ones for running, cycling, golf, hiking gps, motorcycle gps, radar systems, fish finders and auto gps navigation to name a few. I absolutely think this is something that they all could use for many years to come. But recently I found something way cooler!!! Check out the LG touchscreen GD910 watch phone below. Call me old fashion, but I didn’t even know they had a wrist cellphone! In the picture below to the right you’ll see a Sunvisor DVD Player with Game Function. Here is another product I didn’t know existed. Way too cool!

Creative ideas for groomsmen gifts

I’m looking for gifts for my groomsmen for my wedding this July and I can’t come up with any good ideas. I don’t want to do anything that is alcohol/bar related and I don’t want to do something golf related. My groomsmen gifts are going to start with their favorite Sports Team.  For sure I am going towards a Sports Jersey, some World Cup Gear and possibly some New NBA Apparel. I have found Official NFL Sideline Gear that look pretty awesome and will be checking into further as gifts. I’m not for sure exactly what to buy yet, but pretty sure it’s going to be a variety of sport stuff. I just found this great Sports Merchandise Clearance page

Gift A Kindle

Help! My fiancé needs some unique gift ideas for his 25-30 year old groomsmen. -100 each; no traditional gifts like monogrammed watches, flasks, or cufflinks; and something they can easily travel home with.  Although these cost a little more than I was planning, I just came across the Kindle wireless reading device and thought this would be a super gift! They are a great size for travel, you can get cheap books in 60 seconds, has adjustable text size and if you need, you can send your personal documents right to your Kindle to have with you anywhere.

Kindle Wireless Reading Device

I have discovered not only is it for books, but newspapers, magazines and blogs.
One feature I really like is that it will read out loud to you and you can switch back and forth between reading and listening. Now that is super cool. I know this is way different than these pub signs below, but the Kindle sure is a great gift idea!! Gift a Kindle

When to give groomsmen gifts?

When is a good time and who gives the groomsmen their wedding party gifts? I just don’t know. Is it before the wedding, after the wedding, or should I give them at the rehearsal dinner?

Grooms Speech

This is my big speech on my big day.

I am getting married in a few months and want to put a little bit of a personal touch on my groomsmen gifts. They will be engraved and will need to be short (like 5 words or less). Every groomsmen gift I’ve ever received for participating in a wedding just had my initials on it. I want to do something a little different.

Adam Tanner, the groom, makes his speech.

I don’t even know how anyone can claim they had a better first dance at their wedding than this couple. Man, they must have spent hours and hours on this routine. They both kick ass. I wish I could have been in the wedding party to see everyone’s reaction at the reception. It sure must have been a sight to see.

We are having a hard time finding non alcohol groomsmen gifts (i.e. flask, beer stein). Due to one of the groomsman having an addiction problem, we feel it’s obviously best not to give him anything like that. Any suggestions, or where to find it?
